Ready-to-Use Custom Dressforms

The Landscape
For decades, seamstresses have been told that having a custom dressform made for them is simply out of their budget and to go for lesser alternatives. If you’ve heard anything about custom dressforms, you’ve heard they're expensive or you can DIY one at home. Now there’s a third option on the market and it’s called BespokeForms.
BespokeForms creates dressforms starting with a 3D Scan that customers can take in the comfort of their own homes. They utilize a free 3D scanning app called KIRI Engine that takes pictures and combines them to create a scan. Using the scan, they create a custom pattern of the dressform which is then sewn together and stuffed. The manufacturing process takes 2-4 weeks to create and the completed dressform is then shipped to the customer.

What is Ready-to-Use?
BespokeForms chose to create the term “ready to use” from the commonly used “ready to wear” as a differentiator between their fully made dressforms and DIY options. The notion insinuates that the user receives the dressform ready to use but not premade as all their custom dressforms start with the customer.
